Barfi vs Heroine movie

Barfi, Ranbir Kapoor movie releases a week earlier than her cousin Kareena's Heroine.

Which will be a hit and which flop?

Barfi
Ranbir is in fine form after his last successful film Rockstar. The lover boy kapoor has a good fan base, and they have been waiting patiently, for this choosy rockstar's next movie.

The music is being lauded in reviews, and this has created a positive feel for the movie.

Illeana D'Cruz, one of the two leading ladies of the movie, is creating a little buzz and that is again a good positive for the movie.

Priyanka Chopra is not in good form, and she is playing a character role kind in this movie, and only die-hard fans of her would be eager to go watch especially her, as the debacle of Saath Khoon Maaf is still fresh on viewers mind.

Overall the buzz, though not huge as Salman's last movie, it is slowly growing, with good promos, reviews and overall positive feel slowly surrounding the movie.

Heroine
Kareena, though not popular as the reigning queen of Bollywood - Katrina, has good number of hits, and is second to none in the acting department.

However, frankly, success in bollywood movies is more for movies where the centre of attraction is the hero, and this is a heroine-centric movie. So, until the script and other aspects of movie (music, dialogues etc) is absolutely brilliant, it would be difficult to sustain at the box office.

Kareena did a brilliant job in Chameli, back in 2004, but it failed at the box office, as the script let down a bit.

The music is not catchy and has not got much positive reviews.

The trailers looks more like the movie Fashion Part-2, and nothing exceptional so far to draw attention.

Conclusion
Barfi looks the winner and releasing one week prior, with positive buzz, might eat into the business of Heroine, which will again have tough competition in the second week with releases like OMG etc.,
